Einstein's Beach House is a collection of eight short stories. All of them consist of a bit of dark humor while entertaining with stories of family, relationships, emotions and a bit of heartbreak. The idea behind each story is good (and all well written), however, the characters are all fairly unlikable. Both the men and women are flighty characters, often unimaginable and surreal in the way they are presented. While they are all interesting, I enjoyed the story of a widower taking his young daughter along to hospitals (while presenting himself as a Doctor) whilst he kills family members of doctor's at various hospital much more than the story surrounding a couple's custody battle over a turtle.
A quick, interesting and entertaining read!
